This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to OPEN SOFT LLC's monitoring services. We strive to provide transparent information about when and how refunds are processed. By subscribing to our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
This Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Free Trial
NETMONITY offers a 14-day free trial for new users to evaluate our services. During this period:
- No payment is required to start the free trial
- You can cancel your account at any time during the trial without incurring any charges
- If you do not cancel before the end of the trial period and you have provided payment information, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription based on the plan you selected
Since our free trial does not require payment, there are no refunds associated with the trial period itself.
3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
NETMONITY offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for all new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days of your paid subscription:
- You are eligible for a full refund of the subscription fee paid
- The 30-day period begins on the date when the first payment is processed (after any free trial period ends)
- To request a refund under this guarantee, you must contact our customer support team within the 30-day period
- Upon receiving your refund request, your subscription will be cancelled immediately
This money-back guarantee applies only to new customers and to the first subscription payment. It does not apply to subscription renewals or subsequent payments.
4. Monthly Subscription Plans
For monthly subscription plans, our refund policy is as follows:
- First Month: Covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee as described above
- Subsequent Months: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the 30-day money-back guarantee period has expired
- Cancellations: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. When you cancel, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period, but no refund will be issued for the current billing period
We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a monthly billing cycle after the 30-day money-back guarantee period.
5. Annual Subscription Plans
For annual subscription plans, our refund policy is as follows:
- First 30 Days: Covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee as described above
- After 30 Days: Annual plans may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of the subscription under certain circumstances, such as:
- Significant and persistent service issues that we are unable to resolve
- Material changes to the Services that substantially reduce the functionality you rely on
- Prorated refunds are calculated based on the number of full months remaining in your subscription period
- Downgrades: If you downgrade from an annual plan to a lower-priced plan, we may provide a prorated credit toward future billing cycles
Cancellations of annual plans without qualifying circumstances, as determined at our discretion, are not eligible for prorated refunds after the 30-day money-back guarantee period.
6. Enterprise Plans
Enterprise plans are subject to the specific terms outlined in the custom agreement between OPEN SOFT LLC and the enterprise customer. Refund policies for Enterprise plans may differ from those stated in this general Refund Policy.
Please refer to your Enterprise agreement for details about applicable refund terms, or contact your account manager for more information.
7. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team by email at support@netmonity.com or through the contact form on our website
- Include your account information, the reason for your refund request, and confirmation of your account cancellation
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase
- Processing time depends on your payment provider and typically takes 5-10 business days
- Your account will be cancelled or downgraded as appropriate
8. Ineligible for Refunds
The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Requests made after the 30-day money-back guarantee period (except for qualifying circumstances with annual plans as described above)
- Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
- Subscriptions that have already received a refund in the past
- Charges for additional services, add-ons, or overage fees
- Accounts banned due to abusive behavior or fraudulent activity
- Services purchased through third-party resellers (please contact the reseller directly)
NETMONITY reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion.
9. Payment Methods and Processing
Refund processing varies based on the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days
- PayPal: Refunds are usually processed within 2-3 business days
- Bank Transfers/ACH: Refunds may take 7-14 business days to process
- Wire Transfers: Refunds via wire transfer may incur additional bank fees, which will be deducted from the refund amount
If your original payment method is no longer available, we may require additional information to process your refund through an alternative method.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the changes becoming effective.
Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes to this Refund Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
